Sorry - another charting question
Okay - so I got a positive OPK and then two days later my temps spiked. They have remained high thru today (four days of high temps in a row). Does this mean that I definitely ovulated? Or is there still a chance that there is something wrong with me and i didnt ovulate? TIA

Re: Sorry - another charting question
Do you use Fertility Friend?? If so, once you put the temps in it should give you a cross line and an ovulation date....If it does not it could be you didn't O yet and I would just BD just in case you are O late this month....
ETA: Did you see any other signs of O?? Like CM, O pains?? That's another way to see if you ovulated...

usually 3 consecutive days of high temps indicates ovulation occurred

Re: Sorry - another charting question
i had all the signs of O'ing. Just wondering if you have all the signs (CM, O pains, Temp change, etc) if it is possible that there may still be something wrong preventing you from O'ing. I am fairly certain I O, but I dont want to get over confident!
I do use fertility friend and it said I O'd on Monday.

Once you have the surge AND the high temps you definitely O'd. Does that mean everything is A-OK? No, but it does mean you O'd.

Re: Sorry - another charting question
If you have the temps check them against this:
What you are looking for is a temperature shift of at least .4 degrees over a 48-hour period to indicate ovulation. This shift should be above the highest temperatures in the previous six days, allowing one temperature to be thrown out as inaccurate (fluke, illness).
or this
Look for a sustained temperature rise that is 0.2-0.6 ° C (0.4-1.1 ° F) higher than the previous six readings ignoring any weird readings ie. dips and spikes. This will tell you that you have ovulated. Once you have seen four consecutive high temperatures, you can assume that you have ovulated and are in the infertile phase of your cycle.
