Sorry - one more Facebook/Farmville Question
Well, actually 2.
First - has anyone ever actually earned "free" coins by taking one of those "free surveys"? I tried and there is NO END to those surveys.
Second - if you have a really big farm (e.g. a plantation), did you get there by constantly farming and earning, or did you at one point (or more) use real money to purchase farm coins and farm dollars?

I dont know about question #1 ,but #2 I have a plantation ,and I earned the coins to buy it from farming ..I didn't use my own money to buy the coins to buy the plantation

Don't bother with #1 -- taking the surveys -- you wind up with tons and tons and tons and TONS of spam in your email.
I have a plantation size farm and I got it from just harvesting and planting and helping out other farms among friends. Once you get up in levels you really get the ability to earn tens of thousands of coins for harvesting all your plants at once. Right now I have 125K+ coins that I have nothing to do with because my farm is already maxed out with space! Eventually you get so many coins its like 'what do i do now?"

No clue about the first, but I just bought a plantation size farm just harvesting and planting. I would never buy coins with real money. When I started I never thought I would get that high, but it starts to build quick after a while. I now have over $250K at Farmville.

Question #1: I have done one of those free coins things not for Farmville but for Farkle. I did get the coins but it took a LONG time to finish the "survey." Just kept clicking on No...IMO totally not worth it. Dont really get that
Question #2: I have never paid for anything on facebook (even though DH REALLY wants the Garden Gnome) I made a killing in super berrys and anything I have on my farm is a direct result of my addiction

#2: I refuse to pay anything with real money. It's a game! So I loved the superberries. It got me a great jump start. I do it all with my crops.

I just started the game on Sunday and I have a 16x16 farm already. I plant as much as will fit on my farm. I plant a whole farm of rice every night. Thats a BIG profit in the morning. I do the same during the day with pumpkins (8 hours).
ETA: I just found this out today, when someone posts to the newsfeed that they got a ribbon, click the last link underneath that, and tou get coins! I got 500 once!
