Sorry I know it's been done - parties for a 6 yo boy?
Any ideas for a party location for a 6 yo boy?
We did laserbounce last year for his first "friends" party at a place.
I feel like everything is either more than I want to spend or was just done by one of his friends.
Any fresh ideas?
I'm not opposed to in home entertainment too.
TIA
ETA - Forgot to add that I am in Central Nassau

Bowling Firefighter museum party (see what they do for older kids) Planetarium party Mini golf Magic show (in house) I'd love a camping party with some games if in the early summer. I bet with a grill with hot dogs, some tents & some games, this would be pretty awesome.

Mine has been asking for an Ice Skating party for the last 2 years .........I finally caved this year for his 7th Birthday.
We've done Bounce U, a sports complex in Freeport I can't remember the name of, but the kids loved it ......and Skate Safe for deck hockey .......
So far this year he's gone to Karate (Star Wars Jedi Training) very cute, and roller skating.

We had a "glamping" party last year for my DD and her friends and it was awesome. It wasn't her bday, but they had such a good time. We did various crafts, went on a scavenger hunt, had hot dogs and walking tacos, did a bonfire with s'mores...then they all slept inside the house IN tents. They had a lot of fun!

Thanks all. Some good ideas here!
I want to ask him what he wants but I want to just present choices because I am afraid of what I will hear if I don't.

My son liked the Game truck, Kazam, The Firefighters Museum (but he was younger), or a movie theater party. I am trying to get away from the big class parties now, just so expensive and he doesn't need all those toys, etc. I am so excited because I saw a groupon for Great Wolf Lodge, where he has always wanted to go so he agreed to do that instead of a party!

I'm trying this for DS this year with his 2 closest friends & their families. Glad to hear it was fun! For all I know, he will want something totally different!
