Sorry, I need to vent about DH
Okay, DS's baptism is on Sunday. We're having the party here, in our backyard after. DH and FIL have been working on a project in the backyard, and though it is almost done, DH seems to get a new idea to add to it every day!
Now, I have not been able to go do any shopping to prepare, b/c I want to go w/o DS (it will be SO much faster) and I have not been able to get much cleaning done either.
Oh yeah, and I'm sick! I can't win!
I wanted to get a haircut (haven't had one since b4 I was PG), yeah THAT's not going to happen.
DH said he'd help clean. Yeah right. I asked when he'd help, he said after he is done outside. PS we've both been up since 7am, guarantee he'll be "too tired" to help me later!!

When he says he is too tired, kick him in the shins and tell him it's his wake up call!!!

Re: Sorry, I need to vent about DH
i know all about "too tired"
mine gets up at the 3 or 4am feeding and then sleeps until 8am. (he works 15 min. away and doesn't ahve to be in until 9)
meanwhile, i get up at 5am everyday so i can shower/do my hair/makeup AND hang out with DS before work. which is why i don't get up at 3 or 4am...i'd be up for the day at those times. DH complains he's sooooo tired from the 3am feeding yet he gets a good 4 more hours of sleep in after it (we both pass out by 10pm). meanwhile, i am actually up beignn productive 3 hours more than him and i dn't complain about my exhaustion. makes me want to scream.

I can totally understand your frustration. Can you get a cleaning lady over, even if it's just a one time thing? It shouldn't all fall on your shoulders.
