if you want to buy it bigger due to babies naturally grow very quickly, then buy a size up. but if you buy it too big, the opening for hte neck could ride up to baby's face.

I had a long sleeved onsie on my son the other night that was sized 12-18mths, my son is 11mths and normally wears 9-12mths. When I went to get him out of his crib his entire arm was out of the onsie because it was too big. It freaked me out. God forbid he was sleep and the sleeve could have wrapped around his neck. You never know! He wont be wearing those for while!
