Brown is old but I would call your OB in the am regardless and get a sono! Chat Icon

I was surprised when my dr. said that even implantation spotting can still go on ... the placenta is still making its way into your uterus. Let your dr know, but all should be perfectly fine!

Re: sorry TMI re spotting?

I've spotted last week and I was about 13 weeks...my doctor was not concerned but I did call him and let him know what is going on.

My spotting went away after 3-4 days...it was also brownish.

are you spotting continuously, or was it just a few drops on the pantiliner?

i would call the OB just to let him/her know Chat Icon

ITA. Tell your Dr, but brownish yellow is common & can be from the uterus rubbing against the blood sac that is created or it can even be old blood.Chat Icon

i didn't have any more so i'm hoping that was it. if it happens again, i will def call the doctor to see what they say. i'm not really having cramping - it feels more like mild tummy upset or something.

i haven't been around much because, honestly, i have been feeling SO CR@PPY!!!! luckily i think (hope, PRAY) that i am turning a corner - past 2 days have been not as bad, and today has been decent so far as well (although the day is still young...).

just left message for doctor's office - another bit of spotting Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

***ETA:
they told me to go in right away - so of course i was really worried. i was hoping they'd say to go in only if it were red etc... my doctor is on vacation this week so i had to see her associate (never been to a male gyno Chat Icon). Anyway, he said everything looked fine, heartbeat was going - cervix was fine - The baby is 51 mm - it grew a little over 8 mm in less than 1 week!! baby was in upright position this time. i'm 12 weeks today and he said to take it easy, drink alot of fluids and to notify them if it gets brighter or more abundant. He said it can be from growth spurts, old blood etc... i was so DRAINED.

Then i walked down from West 77th to 49th Street, hopped on the subway and there were probs so i got home later than usual - exhausted but relieved.... The reassuring thing was the doc said the chance of miscarriage at this point are slim.
