sorry to crash ladies but maybe you can answer a ??
I'm 16dpo and still havent gotten AF. I'm too chicken to test b/c I'm afraid of the disappointment. I've been experiencing AF cramping for the last few days but she hasnt shown yet. My question is have any of you actually experienced what you though was AF cramping and still get your BFP? Thanks in advance and congratulations on your soon to be bundles of joy.

I did. I thought AF was definitely coming. Then, the cramps stopped and AF never showed. I took a test for fun, never thinking I was actually pregnant, and it was a faint BFP. Good luck!

Yes, it is called implantation cramping. Go test, that is the only way you'll know for sure! Good Luck!!!!!!

I definitely had cramping before my BFP. But I tested 3 days before AF was due and got a BFP.
The cramping was slightly different then AF cramping. Sort of in a different location and not quite as strong/consistent.

i wanna test but I know I'll be so disappointed if it comes out negative 
Plus DH and I had to do IUI and I dont know how many more of these I can afford.

i remember i was SO upset when i started having AF cramps at 6DPO, i really thought AF was early.
then i tested at 10DPO and i got my BFP 
i would say that cramping for several days is a very good sign - especially at 16DPO with no sign of AF. i would definitely test. we are ALL here for you.

ETA - you did an IUI and the doc didn't have you come in for bloodwork yet?

I'm going for bloodwork on Thurs.....I know I was supposd to go sooner but as you can probably tell by now....I am trying to put off any disapointment for as long as possible. I must sound like a nut to you guys LOL

Yes, I had AF cramping right around the time AF was due, and was upset that yet another month had gone by without conceiving (it took us a long time).
I kept checking, but no AF. A couple days later I took a home test and got my BFP.

When was AF due? I know what you about being scared to test.
I actually tested at 10DPO (may have even been 9DPO because I'm not exactly sure when I ovulated) because I was SOOOOO convinced that it was going to be a BFN because of all the cramping I had. I had promised DH I wouldn't test until AF was late so boy was I in trouble when it came up BFP.  The cramps can be a really good sign - I hope they are for you!

Hi Katie....AF was due on 6/10. BUT I took clomid this month and some girls have said that clomid makes your period late. I called the RE's office and the nurse there said she never heard of clomid making you late.... so I dont know what to think.
I go for a blood test on Friday so we'll see what happens.

If it makes you feel better- just wait until the blood test results come back. - If you can hold it in that long without testing..
To be honest with you- I am having cramping too- it is implanation and the uterus making room.
Since we o'd around the same time, it could very well be that you are pg.
I am saying prayers for you. I hope it worked this month!
