Sorry to keep obssessing on this topic...

But the whole surprise baby shower thing is driving me insane....

I guess because I really wanna start moving on everything..and I cant!!!!

First my mom had totally implied the shower was in the month of august....Well now that August is here... is everyone keeps making me think its in Sept. (which could just be because they are throwing me off track)

Last night I called my best friend and told her to tell me what month it is in... I told her how I need to use my vacation time but dont wanna take like the first week in Sept off if I hadnt had my shower yet (for I wanna use that time to work on the nursery) I also told her how im cleaning the house all the time (cuz no family has seen the new place..so i know whenever my shower is everyones gonna wanna come back n see) The suspense is fun...but its driving me crazy!!!! Anyways she told me not to do anything til the END of sept but who the heck knows if shes telling the truth...

What do u girls think???

Honestly if you aren't painting your nursery you really won't need that much time to set it up at least I didn't once DH and his dad painted it.

Now as for the not knowing I can understand your frustration. I knew when my showers were but even then it was so hard for me not to be involved. But you'll love being surprised and have some much fun getting all those baby gifts!!

The whole painting of the room has been decided on yet... prob not... but who knows~

I dont wanna know the exact date or anything... But like my BF said if she tells me its this month it only leaves 2 weekends to guess from

personally, I think pg women are under enough stress without their shower being a surprise! I'm all for surprise bridal showers, but I think I enjoyed knowing when my shower was going to be....9 months pg was not the tmie I wanted to have to be on my toes all the time!

The way you feel is completely understandable, however, I believe that your family knows that you'll want to get everything ready soon...so, it just very well be within the next 2 weeks.

I think that your friend didn't want to blow the surprise that your mom has planned for you so she's just trying to throw you off.

Either way...hang in there, it'll be here soon!!!
