Yes! I would definitely try it. Saturdays might be nice and quiet (unless you work in retail or food industries.)

Its just a lifestyle change. Totally doable
I used to work graveyard shifts and got really used to having my days to myself. Sleeping until 10am-12pm. Never worry about doctor appts since I'd always make them, etc. It took time to get used to 8-5 (m-f). Saturdays just really aren't that big of a deal.
First year or so you're gonna wanna rush home to the baby anyway (or I did). If its super important big deal then ask for to work a different day that week or take a day off. I don't think it will come up enough to justify resigning from the job for a few saturdays a year.

i would do it.it may be hard at first to adjust but if you have most of the regular week off, then thats pretty good.
