Sory to complain again just had to get this off my chest!

I am very greatful that I am living here in Florida with my adopted parerents. But there is a mayjor downfall. I have nothing of my own, and I share a room with my 9-year old son. This is getting too much for me to handle. It makes me more and more want to go back to NY. My son has no rules what I say doesn't matter at all. He has this huge attitude against me and I am tired of it. I am the mother not everyone else around. It is getting to the point I really need my own space. I am going to school and I want to finish ASAP. I need to get a good payiing job and move out. I have no personal time to myself and I hate it. I try to do things like have private conversations on the phone and I can't because my son is always around me. He needs to learn alo I do not need to go to bed at the sametime with him. I need my own place now. I don't have a car so that is another problem. I can not work right now b/c I have alot of homework that has to be done and I have my son to care for. I do what I can around the house and I try to me a good mom but everyone here buts in. My parents treat me as if I was 18 again and that pisses me off to. I never go out anymore, I am always home. I have really no friends around here and I realy have no life. I only have till Dec, to be done with school but I want to be done now. Even when I get a job I have to wait to save money first for a car then for an apartment. It was so much easier when I was married I didn't have to worry so much. I know I have been complaining alot but wouldn't you. I get up at 6am go to school come home do homework for myself while helping my son with his. Eat dinner give my son a bath and try to get himt o bed. Then I come on here for some peace. I am tired of this same old rutine every day. Weekends I stay home I study hang out with my son and thats it. I am sooo tired of waiting to have "the better life" that my family says I will have when I am done with school. I have been like this for awhile now. At least when Joe could drive I got out a little. He can't now. And he starts work when I get home from school. Thats another reason were threw. We haven't seen eachother in two weeks. I don't think I need a serious relationship now anyway I need to finish school.

OK I AM SORY I AM COMPLAINING AGAIN, BUT I HAVE NO CLUE ON WHAT TO DO ANYMORE!!

Once you are out of their house and they aren't supporting you I am sure your parents will treat you more like an adult. I think it is hard when you are still at home and their role is the same, but different. Are there jobs available in the field in which you are getting your degree?

ETA: Even without a child, life as an adult is pretty routine and monotonous. It's just how it is. I work full time and go to school full time and never go out. Weekends are spent cleaning and grocery shopping.

That's a lot to have on your plate. How much longer until you're done w/ school? and what are you going for?

It sounds like you just need to hang in there a couple of more months until graduation. Your son must start school, soon right? Does he have any classmates that he is friends with? I am sure once you start working and get your own place you will have a different type of routine...it will get better

I am going to school for Medical assisting. I really would like to work as a phlebotomist, or ekg tech I can do most jobs just like a RN but just no IV medications, I can start them but im not allowed to administer the meds. I also do vital signs, radiology, and all shots.

I found out the hospital is hiring a triage nurse for the ER for a graveyard shift. I asked about if I needed to be done with school they said no because all it is is taking info and vitals and I did my externship already at the er. I might be taking this job so I can get a bit ahead to get my own place.
