Soup in the crock pot
OK, so I want to make a chicken pot pie soup recipe that I found on all recipes in the crock pot. Problem is... it's not a crock pot recipe. I am a crock pot beginner, and I am confused. The original recipe calls for cooked chicken. If I am doing it in the crock pot, shouldn't I put it in uncooked, since it will be cooking all day? Please, crock pot pros, help me!!!! I really wanted to make this for dinner tomorrow!
Thanks in advance!!

Re: Soup in the crock pot
I would put it in uncooked. Or put in cooked chicken right before it's done just to heat with everything else. But keep in mind if it's cubbed or shredded it will cook pretty fast even in the crock pot. So if your gone for 7 or more hours you might wanna put it in already cooked when you get home.
