Source: Joe Simpson Begs Tony Romo to Attend Ashlee's Wedding
Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson may be done, but her dad still wants the quarterback to "support the family" at Ashlee's weekend wedding.
"Joe has called Tony and asked him to come to show support for the wedding," a source tells Usmagzine.com.
It's unclear if Romo accepted Joe's request, but he's scheduled to fly into L.A. over the weekend.
Romo wasn't present at a bachelor party Joe threw for Pete and a few of his pals at Mr. Chow's on Thursday night. E! reports a steady supply of beer and wine was brought to their table. After the celebration, Joe picked up the $1,000 tab!
(Back at Ashlee's parents' Encino, California, home, Jessica and mom Tina threw a bachelorette party for Ashlee that E! reports was a "mellow arrair." About a dozen of Ashlee's closest family members and friends attended the backyard event, deocrated with balloons.)
Ashlee (who is pregnant) and her fiancé Pete Wentz are tying the knot on Saturday. Big white tents were being set up at her parents' home on Thursday. For more exclusive wedding details, click here.
"Proper invites have not been sent out but instead guests have been given a save the date notice," a source told Us.
The rehearsal dinner – described by the source as "an intimate affair" for "family and close friends only" – will take place on Friday.

Joe's daughters need to FIRE their Daddy and cut the damn cord -
He's already successfully ruined ONE daughter's relationship ..........hey, let's move on to relationship #2, and while we're at it - make a media frenzy of the little sister's wedding ..........
And would someone PLEASE epxlain to me WHY the Groom's future FIL would be hosting a BACHELOR party ????
If this man would just disappear their lives and careers would be MUCH better off !
