Sources of News - how do you get yours?
On an average day, what outside sources do you depend on to learn about current events?

You listed Print Media, but I don't read physical papers. I read the on-line versions of most of the print media sources.
If I see anything on FB, I immediately check other sources to confirm (or more often, debunk) stories I see.
I also get a lot of info on LIF....

A mix. I have online subs to NYT and WaPo but I tend to go to Twitter first- I follow a lot of journalists, policy folks, etc, who tend to share relevant articles. I also like The Hill & Politico. I don't read physical papers.
I also watch way too much cable news which I am trying to cut back on.

I get online articles from NYT,WaPo through FB so I guess Social Media incorporates Internet/Online media.

Usually NPR, the Washington Post and NYT. For the more controversial news items, I fact check a lot against Politifact and Snopes.

Online I have a subscription to NYT. I also check AP news, Reuters, and a few other sites.
I follow news and Guts on fb (Dan rather 's site) which links to various news articles.
I watch vice news on HBO, cnn, and occasionally other networks.

I mainly read the Guardian. I subscribe to all news I like (NYT, Spiegel, WaPo, BBC) on FB and click the links on there. I'm not sure where I fit into in this poll.

Re: Sources of News - how do you get yours?
LIF/Facebook, 1010 WINS, and online research of anything I read from LIF/Facebook so it could be NY Times, WaPo, Politico, and I love to cross reference with Fox news and the like just for balance.
My FB friends list tend to be a mix of very informed people/crazy liberals/die hard conservatives/click-bait junkies so I like to think my news sources are well rounded.
