I find it laughable that people are shocked about this. When I started flying in 1993, this was the culture in the flight deck. I just love that this was caught on tape and finally someone is being held accountable.

BTW- they (collective "they") always called sensitivity training "charm school" and often joked about the number of strip clubs within walking distance to the center.

I do respect the fact that he hasn't filed a grievance with the pilot union. What he did was wrong and it seems he's accepting his punishment and appreciating he still has a job.

I knew this pilot and flew with him a number of times as we were hired the same time- he was a decent guy. I never heard these types of things from him, but then again, I wasn't a granny or grande at the time. He might be disappointed to see me now though.....

ETA: when I say laughable, I don't mean I find the situation funny, just that people in the industry are shocked.

What is a 'grande'? I thought that was something that an Arts Major with multiple piercings served you?

if anyone watched the show MILE HIGH, they would not be surprised in the least.

I always thought this was the REAL reason that they had so many rules about Flight Attendants size and age.

but I do find this hysterically funny. this guy IS totally laughable.
