soy formula moms
I started my DS on Soy Formula this week and now his poops are very solid, too solid I think.
Did anyone else experience this and what can I do to help him?

Until his tummy gets use to it, it will be solid but go to normal. I would try giving him a few oz. of water a day to help with that.

Yes, soy formulas are constipating. I would recommend using gentlease instead. A much better solution to gas and fussiness issues. Plus, it doesn't constipate and has better calcium absorption (added bonus)

i don't recall ever thinking they were 'too solid' - but i know that they are still firmer than mush...and she's been on soy since pretty much month 1.5 - 2 months.

my DS couldn't handle the soy. His little poos were rock hard and few and far between. He'd cry when he was going. Even a little water didn't help. We ended up switching formula.
