Soybeans

does anyone eat soybeans? i bought a soybean trail mix and it is so yummy! i'm guessing soybeans are good for you? i never had them before

Where did you buy them? YOu are talking about Edamames right? I love the roasted edamames at Trader Joes. But we no longer live in LOng Island. They do not have Trader Joes in Albany.

ETA: Soybean good for? Well, for me it is conterversial. ONly because Soybean is suppose to boost your estrogen and I do not need my estrogen boosted because I have fibroids. And Fibroids feeds off of Estrogen. It is debatable amongst doctors. But, I don't eat them often, every now and then. I do avoid soy milk.

i didn't buy them in trader joes, just at the supermarket.

i had a large fibroid removed in march, now you have me thinking i should stay away from them also!

well, my doctor didn't give me a definite answer. I guess b/c they really do not know. The same goes for birthcontrol pills.

ETA: I would ask your doctor. Maybe, your doctor could give us a better insight.

I don't have enough estrogen with PCOS syndrome. We only drink soymilk because I tend to get really bad sinus infections which leave me in bed for days.
