SPANX All the Way Up = do you see a line at the top?
Sorry, this is pretty wedding related.
My wedding dress is a corset back and looks best without a bra. I *DO*, however, need a sucker-inner for the waist and to keep my hips nice and smooth. And I want to wear full leg pantyhose. (I have closed-toe shoes, don't worry!)
All the Way Up is a high-waisted pantyhose.
Here's the site description:
All The Way Up! High Waist Full-Length Pantyhose $28.00
You talked, we listened. After months of research and tests Spanx proved you can have it all ultra-sheer body shaping pantyhose combined with a powerful high waist that extends up to the bra line to whittle your entire middle, from front to back. Get the combination of the same comfortable, soft waistband and slimming features as Higher Power paired with slick yarns and targeted tummy control Super All the Way offers. Favorite features like a cotton double gusset that opens for when Mother Nature calls. Invisible reinforced toe to keep your toes comfy all day into the late night!
Soooooo has anyone worn these? Are they terribly uncomfortable? Do you see a line where they rest at the top?
Thanks!

I also need to know where to get them - preferably somewhere I can use a coupon, so I can get a couple of pairs just in case I mess them up at the fittings.

In saw spanx at filenes really cheap but I am not sure if they had the ones you want. maybe call and aks them, it was the filenes on hempstead turnpike in levittown. good luck. I doubt you would see any lines through a wedding dress unless its say a thin satin, most dresses are "bulkier" not sure what you have though.

I haven't tried these, but I am looking for for their Power Panties that go all the way up.
I don't' think they'd show anymore than regular pantyhose, which didn't show under my weddign gown. I think it would only be a problem in a sheath.
Macy's carries some Spanx, and they often have coupons, but that might be just for cardholders.
Filene's Basement has Spanx too, but I'm not sure of how much of a selection.

Target has a line called Assets designed by the Spanx creator. They're cheaper than Spanx, and I've found them to be MUCH more comfortable.

These ones didn't suck in as well for me.
I wore the Power Panties recently and there was no line. I didn't try the All the Way Up ones.

I'm going to hit Whitman - maybe Friday.

Really? I thought that was wear I got mine. Maybe they used to. Or maybe only in Herald Square? Or maybe I was at Lord & Taylor?

Which is probably why they are more comfy!

I have the higher power one and Im thinking it is the same as the P-hose minus the hose. I got it at Lord & Taylor. I had no lines, and it hooked my waist up.

Re: SPANX All the Way Up = do you see a line at the top?
I have worn the "All the Way" pair. They don't leave a line but they aren't terribly comfortable either. Try to wear them under a skirt for a day to see if you can get used to it. You don't want to be uncomfortable on your wedding day. Also, they are very hard to rip and rather expensive so you may want to just start with one pair.
Sometimes you can find them at Century 21 for a better price!

Re: SPANX All the Way Up = do you see a line at the top?
I wore a pair of Donna Karan pantyhose on my wedding day that REALLY sucked me in and were comfortable. I was trying to do a search on LIW to get the exact name but I was married in 2003 and the search only goes back to 2005.
ETA: They might have been DKNY. I got them in Macy's.

Re: SPANX All the Way Up = do you see a line at the top?
I have tried the "All the way up." They are OK. YOu do not see a line where they end under your breast. I really like the shorts better than the full tights, though. But, I hate pantyhose.
I suggest getting the Higher Power (they are much more suckie innie than the hose and you will only need one pair...they don't get messed up). Then, you can get thigh highs.
