Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson

Anyone read this?

I'm guessing it's a YA book - I didn't realize it when I picked it up - but I'm so hooked.

It is really good. I use it in my 9th grade English class.

There is a movie also that stars Kristen Stewart. It isn't bad either.

I loved Speak. I like her other books, too. She might write YA, but they're more "A" than "Y" if you ask me.

(It's on our curriculum, too. It's one of the books that the kids actually want to read. If that's not a ringing endorsement, then I don't know what is. )

I read this with my tenth graders. They love it. I've had enough of it
