Speak to me as if I am dumb! ? about Internals
You ladies are really freaking me out here. What is the deal with internals? I am getting the impression that they hurt. Can some explain to me why exactly they hurt. I guess it goes beyond them "taking a peek" up there, huh?

Well, I had my first one on Tues when I was exactly 36 weeks. It really was nothing. The Doc to a quick swab b/c they check for strep or something. If you don't have it you're fine and if you do then they give you a treatment. Then he just did a quick internal to feel if my cervix is opening yet, which it's not. It honestly is nothing. I mean, it's not so comfy and pleasant, but goes fast. You're just a little more sore there I guess.
