Speaking of clothes, how much is reasonable?

So I laid out my purchases, stuff tucked away from last year, etc and thought wow this is too much. I selected a few things I could return but there isn't much I want to.
I mean DD probably has about 20 long sleeve shirts, 4 jeans, 2 cords, 4 legging, 4 yogas and the list goes on.
I keep thinking its not that much but every season I seem to have stuff she never wears.

What's your toddlers wardrobe like?

With my boys I try to get atleast 2wks worth of clothes. But thats my boys my sister on the other hand has all the girls and god I can't even tell you how many outfits they have. I rarely see them ever wear anything more then once.

5 jeans, 1 pair of khakis, 10 long sleeve shirts

ETA: I usually buy more for my 4 y/o because I know her sister will wear it the following year

Re: Speaking of clothes, how much is reasonable?

OK, I'm at work right now so I don't know exactly how much I have but off the top of my head I can count 26 outfits including pants, skirts, dresses, sweatsuits etc plus 5 pairs of shoes, 2 sneakers and 3 boots. Oy! Chat Icon

ETA: some of the stuff is bigger and some is smaller even though it is all the same size. I'm hoping to be able to phase stuff in and out throughout the season as she grows in and out of stuff. So, maybe it won't be as bad as I think.

Re: Speaking of clothes, how much is reasonable?

I just returned ALOT of stuff. I think DS had an outfit for everyday for the next 2 months and I'm not joking. My mother (and myself) went crazy while I pregnant buying clothes. And after he only wore some of his 0-3 months and 3-6 months outfits only once I realized he doesnt really need that much.

I don't have a fall wardrobe for Hayley yet. I wait until after her Birthday party (which is next weekend Chat Icon ) and will see what clothes she gets and then I will go shopping.

I always over buy and she either only wears the outfit 1 time or she never wears it. Chat Icon

DD usually has about 3 weeks worth of outfits for every season....too much. she usually has a few outfits that are only worn once or twice. I overbuy. I cant help it. I see cute stuff and I have to buy it. She has 6 pairs of shoes for fall/winter....UGH, I have a problem.

Re: Speaking of clothes, how much is reasonable?

My boys have stuff that they have never worn. In fact some of the stuff I bought for Nate that he didn't get to wear, Jayden is wearing now.

After seeing how much laundry, I had to do for both boys this summer I think I'm going to ease it up on the shopping this fall/winter. It's so bad bc they can go almost 4 weeks without wearing an outfit twice.

My mom goes overboard with clothes each season for the boys. She usually gets them pretty cheap with her discount, so its's hard to tell her to stop.
