Speaking of dopplers
Where do you rent them and when was the earliest you heard your babies heartbeat on one? Thanks!

I rented mine from storkradio.com
I heard the heartbeat at 9 weeks. that doppler was my lifesaver!

I hadn't heard it prior to that. You will know the difference between yours and the baby's. I timed it with a watch with a second hand. YOur heartbeat is soo slow compared to that of the baby's. At 9 weeks, its sooo low, almost in the pubic area, took me about 15 min to find it, but once I did, such a sweet sound.
My heartbeat was about 70-75 beats per minute, the baby's was about 170 at that time.

I rented one from here: http://www.fetalsure.com/
I rented it at 10 weeks and heard my son's heartbeat at that time. I returned it once I could feel my son move. Like the previous poster said, the baby's heartbeat will be a lot faster than yours. It sounds like horses galloping.

I rented one from storkradio.com during my first pregnancy. It was so much fun to listen to our little ones heart beat everynight!

I rented one from Babybeat.com
I heard the heartbeat at about 11 weeks. I had a 3 month rental and returned it by the time I was about 24 weeks.
