Speaking of pets in grocery stores...
How about a pet rat?!?!?!?!
The grocery store nearest my house in PA has a parking garage. I was taking the elevator up to the store. A couple walked in behind me.
I noticed the girl was holding something that was moving- then I noticed it was a RAT.
She proceded to stick in her cleavage, pull up her shirt and go into the grocery store. Eww, I was like so freaked out that it would get out and run around the store.

Re: Speaking of pets in grocery stores...
Pets shouldn't be allowed in grocery stores, period.
Rats are actually very clean animals (when they don't live in the sewers... ) DW has had several pet rats over the years, so I don't have a problem with them in general, they just don't belong in stores.

I was always neutral on the pets-in-stores issue till someone's puppy peed at the end of the checkout counter and the owner just left, and the employees had to clean it up.

i really do not understand why people need to bring pet's everywhere. LEAVE them home! Especially leave them home if your going to a food store.
