Speaking of spoiled kids......

I lost my cool with DH this morning!!!!!
A little background here...

Dh wants an HD DVD player for christmas as well as a new surround sound system for his TV. The last time we were in NY, we were at Costco and we found both for about $500 total cost. I said to him then, "Well- christmas is coming so you just have to be patient". I got the face then...

Fast forward to today. We're in the car and I was talking about how on Wednesday when we drive to NY we have a bunch of things to do Wednesday night before heading to my parents (like, run to the grocery store and get a bunch of things for Thursday- etc). DH adds "Yeah and go to Costco and get my stuff". I said if he was going to get it, it would have to be a christmas gift. Well, he got all pizzy and said "Whyyyyyyy? But I WANT it now!!!!! WHY do we have to wait until Christmas?" I lost it!!!! Are you kidding? Are you freakin' 3 years old????? I told him he was spoiled and he shut up for a while..

Are you serious?!?!!

I guess I shouldn't complain. His 16 year old sister still writes out a LIST for her parents for Christmas of at LEAST 30 things and they are all over $100 and somehow, she gets most of it and makes a face when something is missing. I can't stand it!
