Speaking of Wedding Albums....
Holy freakin sh!t!
I'm the worst bride EVER and wouldn't dare post this on LIW but I got married in November and hated my proofs so kind of put the whole thing off.
I call today and they tell me I signed a paper stating there is a 3 month time limit to do your album and it is non negotiable. Now, I'm sure I signed it but don't remember it for the life of me and don't have it on my contract. One would think they'd have reminded me when I picked up my proofs and thank you cards.
I'm in HUGE trouble, my mother's going to kill me and now how the hell do I get an album done? I'm not paying these people to do it, that I'm certain of.

I have no idea what's going to happen. They gave me the proofs on a CD so I'd assume I can have the album made elsewhere?
It's making me nuts because I seriously don't remember them telling me this, I mean I wasn't the best bride in the world but I'm not an idiot an wouldn't have put it off.
Worst part is, I'm not even thrilled with their work.

She went on and on about how they have that rule because of "people like this". Now I feel horrible.
Hopefully the owner is reasonable when I speak with him on Tuesday.

they will still do your album for you, but they will try to charge alot extra, this happened to a friend of mine but her husband went off on them so they didn't charge extra, this place was in brooklyn

I agree. Definitely ask to see the paper you were supposed to have signed. This should have been in the contract.

I've never heard of them only allowing 3 months! I know our photography gave us "freebies" if we did it within 2 months of the wedding date, but never gave us a deadline.
You should most definitely demand to see the contract you signed stating you only had 3 months to finish the album.

maybe I read this wrong, you had a time limit? You had only 3 months to decide on our album??
I have in my contract it can take up to 3 months to get my album once I pick the photo's I want. I am going to be married 3 yrs and didnt do my album yet 
Talk about mothers killing them 
Recheck your paperwork it could read that it could take up to 3 months to get your album once you pick your photos. See if you can buy your negatives and go elsewhere

thats bull$hit! they can put a time limit on when you turn in your pics???? so is there a time limit on EXACTLY when they'll have the album ready????? i know some girls that are waiting almost a year for their album!
i got married last june and JUST turned in my album pics last week. my photographer was a little pizzy but whatever! i paid you so you WILL wait until i have them all ready and picked out!
call and make a huff and demand to see where it is that you signed! if all else fails, consult an attorney!
so sorry they're doing this to you.
