Special Education extension?
I currently have a SWD 7-12 certification. Does anyone know what I would need to do to become certified SWD 1-6? I know you used to be able to take 1 or 2 classes, but I know they are changing things. If anyone has any information or knows who I should call to find out, I'd appreciate it!

Eastern Suffolk BOCES has always been helpful whenI had questions. I believe the woman's name is Pat and she's extremely kind and helpful.

Special Education extension?
When I did my extension for SwD b-2 I applied for the certificate on the teach site and they let me know what I was missing. It was just one class and the autism workshop. I was already certified in SWD 1-6 and childhood Ed 1-6. You have to pay the fee to apply for the cert but once you complete the requirements you get the cert and don't have to pay again. I took the missing class online through Touro.
