special k challenge...
has anyone done this? does it actually work? for the protein bars and shakes do they have to be only special k?

I asked my best friend who works for them and she said it's like any other diet, but I think it lacks a lot of the nutrients you need.
I'd look into something with more protein, less carbs.

the only reason it "works" is because you are kind of starving yourself. The directions are to eat a serving in the morning, and lunch, and then whatever you want within reason at dinnertime.
It will work, but there are better ways to do it.

i believe special k is around 120 calories a serving (1 or 3/4 cup). with 1/2 c of skim milk it makes 160.
one serving for breakfast and one for lunch makes 320 calories.
you're only losing weight because you're starving yourself. same concept as slim fast. i guess it'd be ok for a quick fix, but honestly i'd rather eat more variety and something that's better for you.
