Special way to ask SIL/BIL to be DD's godparents??
DH and I want his sister and her husband to be Lauren's godparents, especially if anything happens to us. They have good jobs, a house, they LOVE Lauren and they are a good fit. I'm trying to figure out how to ask them? It's kind of a special thing to us and want to find a special way to ask them....any idea??

Maybe you could take them out to dinner?
Or get them a special little "gift" from Lauren?
Just as a note, make sure they know that you want them to have DD if God Forbid something happen to you both...and that's something you'd have to put in your wills....Sometimes people assume having someone be a God Parent automatically does that, but it doesn't....

The way I asked DS godparents, was with a card...There is a website I believe it was carduniverse.com, and they actually have a card for that.
