SCD has been out a while. I personally found it too restrictive and tough to follow.

Are you looking for information about it because of a medical condition? That's why I tried it.

Also, the Makers Diet is similar.

BEfore the SCD I was on a bunvh of medications for about ten years for heartburn and other unpleasant symptoms. I heard about the SCD and was so excited to try it - I was on it for about a year with GREAT results. Then I had my son, and it was soo hard to stick to it. I'm trying to get back on it, but having trouble. I was really strict with it in teh beginning, but didn't have the great results I had teh first time. I feel like I must be doing somethign different.

No one I talk to has ever even heard of the SCD.
