speech therapist for swallowing issues
We are not sure why my son spills out so much formula when he's drinking, so the gastro suggested that maybe he is having problems swallowing.
Has anyone child had this? What do they do to evaluate and then treat? Thanks!

DD is 15 months old and won't swallow any table food. She is being evaluated by a speech pathologist this week. Her daycare believes it has to do with the motility of her tongue.

hmm...could be so many things...I'd try St. Mary's b/c I feel like they have better SLPs for feeding issues than most standard agencies (homecare agency, not sure if the hospital does evals any longer...it's been a long time since I was there).
