Spent 3 Hours in L&D yesterday...i'll try to keep it kinda short
Well i was on my way home from work (about 2 minutes away actually) when some dumb girl decided she wanted to make a left turn into a shopping center...only problem, my car was in the way.
Luckily my brand spakin' new car only has some minor scratches, but he car has a nice big ol dent in it from when she hit me...
I got a little jolt into my seatbelt when the hit happended and completly freaked out...called the cops and all that good stuff then picked DH up at the train and headed over to L&D as directed by the doc
Didnt get admitted but did get the a IV, blood work and all that jazz...contraction monitor and HB monitor...my BP was slightly elevated but the nurse was concerned that my pulse rate was very high...as soon as she got the HB monitor going it really helped to calm me down.
The doc finally came in and did a nice 5+ minute sono to make sure everything was ok and thank god Goober was doing fine!!!!
We got to see him suck his thumb, punch me  and even got to see his face!
It was a scary experience but happy to know that Goober is fine  and now all i have to worry about is my car

Oh thank god you and your LO are ok! Must have been scary I'm sure...so glad you got checked out and were able to see that the baby is fine.
