Spin-off on eye color - if your DC has steel grey eyes
at birth - what color did they change to?
My DD has steel grey eyes and my ped. said that they can only get lighter (hazel or blue) but they'll never turn brown.
Was that true for your DC?

My DD is 11 months and her's are still pretty much grey, but look like they might be changing to blue.

DS's eyes were a greyish blue at birth, then turned green, and are now brown.

My DD eyes were a very dark blue grey at birth. She will be 2 next month and they are light blue. My DS was born the same, but by my DD age they had turned green and now at almost 7 they are a green/brown...not exactly hazel but not brown.

DS had blue-grey eyes and now they're light blue at 1 year.

DS was born with steel grey eyes, still has them at close to 8m... they have developed a little rim of hazel, but you can only see it in certain lights.
Our ped said it wont change much, and his nurse goes gaga over DS and says she'll bet they will stay exactly that way.
Only my grandfathers had grey eyes, everyone in the family has brown eyes. Mine go hazel in some lights, but no one ever notices.

When DS was born, he had dark grey eyes and now they are brown just like mine.

Steel grey as well and turned brown around 2/3 months.
I remember talking to dh about the grey and saying it was so odd- like not an eye color we'd ever seen an adult have.

Thanks! My DS has the most beautiful brown eyes  so brown would be awesome too, but since DD is mixie (Chinese/Irish/Italian) I was excited at the prospect of lighter eyes!
