Spin-off: Recommend your dealer/contact
DH and I are still in the early stages of looking for a new crossover or SUV.
I've gone to Atlantic Nissan in West Islip (dealt with them in the past with Hyundai). Really not crazy about them.
We also checked out Babylon Honda yesterday and felt the guy was totally trying to blow up the price, although in fairness we did say we just started looking and weren't sure what we wanted.
Where would you recommend going?
Do you have any personal contacts?
I would love to start seriously looking this weekend.

I don't have any contacts- but just wanted you to stear CLEAR of Legend Nissan. I bought an Altima from them last July- and what a nightmare! They signed me up for an extended warranty and charged me an extra $1500 for etching my windows- which they said was included in the price. They over-charged me by about $5000 total- which I did end up getting back (but only after I put in complaints with the BBB, Consumer Affairs, the Attorney General)- finally, I had called channel 2 news and they did a segment about it- and got me my money back!
To this day, I do not have an actual bill of sale- just copies.

We had a great experience with AK at Huntington Honda. We shopped around extensively and did our research.
