Spin-off the "expensive" holiday cards.....

It just reminded me of something funny from years past


Back in the day (talking pre-marriage, pre-kids) when I was I guess late teens , VERY early 20's I would buy those boxes of assorted cards from like CVS for like 3 bucks (you know, the ones with a million different size envelopes and you had to try and match 'em up )

I remember hand picking who was getting which ones (the cutesy Santa/reindeer ones went to people I really liked and the uglier ones with the yucky scenery etc.. went to my "less" favorite


Now when "I" get one like that in the mail, I wonder if the person who sent it did the same ....makes me LOL every time !


Oh what I would DO to have the TIME to do all that now ...These days I'm lucky I have a chance to seal the damn things

I know what you mean, when i was a child my mom let me choose which card went to whom and i definitely had a process

i used Simpsons stamps on my RSVPs for my wedding and i definitely picked and choose which ones i put on which lol
