Spin off to MrsBurtch525 post about losing pictures on your computer
My computer just crapped out on me last night to. We think its the power supply and we can't turn it on because the battery isn't charging. Anyone know where I can go to take it where they can recover all our photos and video's off of it? I to haven't backed up my stuff and I'm freaking out on losing them. Also does anyone know if they can recover programs off a laptop as well?

if it is the power supply...you will definitely be able to get all of your information.
not sure where you can go...since my brother has did it all for me...but I will ask him if he knows of where to go.

Where did you get your computer from? We were able to call Dell - they sent someone out to our place free of charge and fixed it.
When we lost our photos and video a few years back, we had to use an online company.
You could probably go to Best Buy but I have no idea how much the Geek Squad would charge.

thank you it would be a big help to know where to bring it!!
The charger won't stay connected to the laptop to charge it. It shorted out last night. I just hope it didn't mess up the computer!!
