Spin-off to sleeping through the night
DD was sleeping through the night 9-10 hours up until about 2 weeks ago when the teething started really bad. Even if we give her the tylenol before bed, she is up at least 1x at night (around 1:30). If I give her a bottle, she will go right back to sleep.
My question is...am I starting a bad habit? Giving her a bottle in the middle of the night to get her to sleep? Will she expect it even after the teeth come in? She had 7oz bottle at about 5PM and went down to sleep at about 6:15 PM. I'm expecting at 1am wake up call

Have you tried just letting her cry for a bit? or maybe more tylenol?

I have tried both....but the screaming continues. I think because she gets herself so worked up. The bottle calms her back down and back to sleep. But...I don't want to start a bad habit (maybe I already did)

Re: Spin-off to sleeping through the night
i was worried about starting a bad habit as well but it was really the only thing to soothe her at the height of her teething so I gave it to her.... it lasted for a week and she is back to her old self... no bad habit here

Re: Spin-off to sleeping through the night
We did this and started a bad habbit. She started wanting a bottle every 3-4 hours at night again and not wanting to eat much during the day. Ped told us to let her CIO which I had not been willing to do up to that point. It took a few nights and was heartwrenching for me but now all is great. She never really slept through the night until now. I had to go in to give her the pacifier a few times at night, but now she either finds it herself or puts herself back to sleep without it.
