Spin off to Thank You
How about when salespeople/cashiers don't say thank you? Now THAT drives me crazy!
I spent $104 at Stop & Shop tonight and I bagged my own groceries. Do you think the little witch could have said thanks? No, she didn't. So either did I. I just took my receipt in silence and left.
Sometimes I don't care and other times it totally burns me.

It bothers me because I am a bit of a moron and for some reason always say thank you to THEM! What am I saying Thank you for?? Handing me my change, me spending a bundle of money in the store? not telling me my hairs a mess?
and my thank you always is met with silence....

I always thank the cashiers too...i hate when i say thank you to them and they continue to just blankly stare at me

I feel the same way.
I always think...they should be thanking me for spending money in their store.
But then I realize that they are just miserable and it reminds me of how much more happy I am with my job.
