Spin off::::When should you Scheduled Classes??
im 22 weeks tomorrow and dont know when i should start doing this. Im due the beginging of Aug.

Now. The classes book up fast so you should try and schedule them pretty far in advance.
As far as how far along you should be, my hospital said around your 7th month.

Well I'm sure it depends on where you do them. The only class I'm in right now is 6 weeks long and it was $80 per couple. I know some of the shorter classes are much cheaper. It seems the classes usually hover around $12-$20 per class.

Your hospital probably has a bunch of different classes that you can sign up for. My hospital had all the classes and their descriptions listed online, so maybe checking their website would be a good place to start.
Right now I'm in a 6 week long 'Birthing' class where they prepare you with what to expect when you go into labor and all the different breathing techniques, pain management, things like that. I also plan to sign up for a breast feeding class.

our class was $175, 4 classes & hospital tour- through our doctors office...
winthrop hospital classes was $150
about 7 months- so you should be taking class in May/June

I am going to be checking in on this at my Level II. My OB's office offers them in the spring (usually around May) & that is when they suggested I take it

I am almost 28 weeks and I just scheduled Lamaze and CPR. We are starting at around 31 weeks.

I think I called the hospital around 23/24 weeks and got put in early June classes for July 4th due date.
