Re: Spinning Class?
No, I wanted too but it looked too intense and I was too scared too!!
Maybe try it cause you can go at your own pace and if you couldnt do it...walk out!
I have faith in you Lauren....YOU CAN DO IT!

Re: Spinning Class?
I think spinning classes are great because you can go at your own pace if you have to and you control the resistance of your bike. Good luck!

Re: Spinning Class?
Try it!!! You might not be able to keep up with the entire class, but definitely go for it! I'm a spin instructor at NYSC and I LOVE having new peolpe come to class. Get there a few minutes early and tell the instructor your a new spinner and they'll set you up on the bike. Word of caution, your butt might be really sore after it, the seats arent that comfortable, but you get used to it quickly!

Re: Spinning Class?
Spinning is great, at first I was scared but you can really go at your own pace
My only advice if you can use a seat cushion, my butt was killing me after a 60 min class!

Re: Spinning Class?
I love spin classes. Go early and let the instructor know that you are new so they can show you how to properly adjust the bike. Go at your own pace and YES your butt will kill you for a few days.

Re: Spinning Class?
I really don't think they're necessarily as hard as people make them out to be, so take it if you are interested. You can set the tension lower initially, and increase if you feel it's too easy. And yeah, let the instructor know that you are new. He/she can help you adjust the bike properly.
