spinoff - cutting 1st tooth
what do you do to soothe them through the teething pain??
My DS isn't there just yet, but he is drooling and looks uncomfortable sometimes - I hate it when he cries and tries to bite his fist.
What is the best advice to give them to help?

Depending on how bad the pain seems - I give Tylenol or Motrin. I find Motrin works better. I hate to see them suffer in pain!

Teething tablets were a godsend for us (they actually just got taken out again b/c we are going through the one year molar phase)
Constantly revolving cold teething toys.
Tylenol when necessary
Frozen fruit in the mesh feeder, ice chips as well. These worked great.
Frozen washcloth
