Spinoff - Easter Baskets

Shopping around I've noticed there are sooo many pre-made Easter baskets.

Growing up my Easter basket was saved year to year, it was a real wooden type basket. I even still have the old paper "grass", same with DH. Now I use my old basket for Aidan.

Does anyone else do that anymore or do alot of people just buy new every year?

Re: Spinoff - Easter Baskets

I made an Easter basket in a crafts class before I was pregnant and didn't know what to do with it.....then I had Emily and finally had a reason to use itChat Icon So that'll be her basket each year until it falls apartChat Icon

Growing up my parents just filled a purchased basket each year.

I bought Andrew his own last year, personalized from Pottery Barn, so he'll be using the same one every year. Growing up, we each had our own my mom would save and bring out each Easter.

Re: Spinoff - Easter Baskets

I made both my kids Easter baskets and hopefully they will use them for years. I cant wait to add another next Easter.

Edited to add some pics-

Here's my son's - I added a few small touches last year like the little carrots. I first pic is from 2004 when I first made it

My daughter's:
I know I'll probably end up adding a few more touches to hers as well this year.

Next one might be more of a challenge if we use the name we are thinking of for the baby - its a bit longer than 4 letters. LOL we might have to change the name so it fits on the basket better.

I remember what a great job you did on those Liz. Too bad I don't know that Gabriella's name would work out that well. Chat Icon

Are those the smaller letters?
