SPinoff - Nikon tips

Since alot of us mommies have this camera, I thought a thread with some tips would be helpful

what settings do you use, etc?

anyone want to share some tips for us "rookies"?

Never put it on that. What does it do?

I have it on automatic or black and white.

My only tip which works GREAT for me...
I never keep the camera straight or up and down I keep it on a slant and keep snapping in various directions...it makes better pics IMO...

Also, whats the deal...at the beginning it was quickly snapping now its like Snap.....Snap...snap..
is it my battery, my disk...whats up?

Yes, and yes Chat Icon It helps blur out the background...I especially love it for outside shots (I think I posted some examples of it on that "Photography Thread" that was started a few weeks ago, if I remember correctly)

ITA with the other poster, I love taking pics on slants too, like this:

We're having this problem too and I'd love to know what's up. It's like it freezes up in b/w shots. I've already returned one camera b/c of it and now it's happening with the replacement. I had a camera guy at the shop tell me it's a problem b/w the flash and the camera that they're not communicating properly with each other but why would it happen with 2 separate cameras Chat Icon
