Yes!! These are also my favorites, but I also need to add the Corner Bistro in the West Village and Donovans in Woodside to the list. Going out for late night burgers and beers is one of our favorite activities!

no offense but i HATE all american. the burgers are just too greasy and nothing to shout about IMO.
i am a HUGE fan of the black bean burgers from chili's. ooh i could so go for one right now...

Howard's in Patchogue. My uncle owns it, and I swear they are the best f'n burgers I've ever had! EVER! Mmmmmmmm.....
Its funny - cause sooo many people say that and I have never been there
So far my favorite place is in Crickets in Sayville.
And its not even a burger joint

I really liked All American - that is until I had
5 Guys Burgers & Fries...OMG Heaven on a bun...and the cajun fries....yummmm
They just opened one of these in Levittown.

where we like to go? any good diner.
where we'd like to go? we live down wind from pace's steak house, and their burgers smell amazing! just can't rationalize spending so much on a freakin burger, though

I was thinking the same thing!! That and if I'm going to a steak house, I'm not ordering a burger for that kind of money!!! 
I love the burgers at Tommy's in Rocky Point. It's down the road a piece from our house. You can't beat paying 13 bucks for two bacon cheeseburgers, fries, salad and a pickel. Oh and that includes 2 beers!!!!
Good food at a good price, I'm lovin' life!

Peter Luger's burgers are not really expensive and they only serve them for lunch, not dinner.

My favorite place for burgers AND steaks. Because they make the best of anything that comes off a cow. Is a place called Arthur's Tavern Steakhouse. Highly recommend this place. Image Attachment(s):
