I put Alex in his at about 4 months. I stuffed a blanket in the seat portion with him since he was small but since he had head control he was fine. Here is a pic with the blanket. I looked at the date and it was 7/19. So he was about 3.5 months old Image Attachment(s):

I started in his 4th month even though he had good head control before that so we could have started earlier. I think you should start when their toes can hit the bottom and they have good head control. I think it is recommended about 4 months but usually by 3.5 months many babies are ready.

I put Christopher in it really early (about 3 months), because he had amazing head control at that point. I always made sure to keep a close eye on him.
