Spinoff: For those of you who are OK with DH going away for a Bachelor Party...

is it that you're OK with him going away for HIS bachelor party and then once you're married you're not OK with it, or are you OK with it whenever.

He went away for his, and a few before we were married. Now that we are married and have the house together, I would hope he would choose to come home to me. If he wanted to go to one, I would tell him to go, but I wouldn't be excited about it either. Unless of course I had the bachelorette party the same weekendChat Icon

No he still goes away for them and for other trips. I was in AC at the Borgata 3-weekends ago for a bachelorette party.

Im Ok with it whenever.
Marriage is about trust, and if I said no, I would think the only possible reason would be because I didnt trust him to make the right decisions....I wouldnt have married him if I didnt.

I'm OK with it whenever. I mean I wouldn't love it but I wouldn't stop him from going. Lucky for me the last one that was supposed to be in Vegas didn't work out that way and now I think all of our friends are married Chat Icon Chat Icon .
But if it came down to it I wouldn't stop him from going. I guess that is what trust is about.

I'm ok with it whenever. He still has quite a few friends (and a brother) whp aren't married yet and I expect him to go to their b-parties.

I don't think my DW would mind. She is really cool with stuff like that and isn't petty.

I went away for my bachelor party to Vegas for a few days. Hell... my best man who organized the whole trip WAS ALREADY MARRIED. His wife didn't mind either.

I wouldn't mind. Honestly, it's not like he's going to do anything he shouldn't. He's probably the most trustworthy person I know. I wouldn't be excited for him to go away because I would miss him, but I trust him immensely.

I don't mind him going away for a bachelor party. He's going to one in AC in October.

DH can go anytime, besides the fact that we trust each other, in DH's circle of friends the bachelor party is just a trip to a warm climate with a casino or to play golf. DH and his friends are mid 30s - 40s
