Spinoff from JC/WW/Nutri post: Anyone ever seriously plateau on WW??
I mean, COMPLETELY STOP losing weight for months and months on it? I love the program and desperately want to go back but I just can't seem to get it to work for me anymore. Any ideas/comments???

Have you tried the Wendi Plan? It's a "different way" to do WW....

Did you talk to your leader? When I did it there were some people like this...But she suggested different ways to stop the plateau--one way was to change points values each day but have them equal the same amount at the end of the week. I'd also change your workout routine and add more weight training. But, the less you weigh, I think the harder it is to lose in general. Some people in my group who weighed over 200 lbs. lost 10 lbs in one week--I only wanted to lose 10 lbs total. It took me 10 weeks to lose 6 lbs.

I wish I could say I'm little but I am tall at 5'9 1/2". I NEVER lost 10 lb. in one week. My father's side and some of my mother's side is overweight so I think I am just cursed with horrible genetics. I really want to fit back into my jeans!

Oh, I shouldn't have said an exact weight--I just meant we had some really, really obese women in the group (couldn't walk without a walker or cane due to weight) and with minor changes they lost more quickly than those of us with much less to lose.

Have you tried cutting back on your points a little bit? I know I am 5'8" with an active job and I feel like I have a lot of points and sometimes feel like I am eating TOO much! Also try to switch up your activity to something that burns more calories. Are you close to your goal weight?

You shouldn't cut back your points. I think they have a scientific formula fo rthe points. But you could try the Wendie plan. I have heard that it works. Or you could try switching to core instead of flex or the opposite. Are you drinking your milk and healthy fats?

I am no longer close to my goal weight, I was 10 lb. away after losing a considerable amount. I do eat healthy, I was seeing a nutritionist for a while and she couldn't help me lose more than 3 lb., the same I always lose.
