spinoff from last weeks legs in the air post (TMI)
This weekend is my time and the past 2 nights I've been putting my legs on the wall and pillows under my butt You know just in case!!!
Anyhow, I was trying to think of a way to keep "it" in there longer and I thought about the "Diva Cup"!
What if I bought the "Diva Cup" and inserted it right after....... well you know and kept it there over night???
Do you think it would do the trick? If I don't get PG this cycle I think I might buy one and try it!

Re: spinoff from last weeks legs in the air post (TMI)
Honestly, it's not necessary to do anything......even keeping your legs up. The high quality, good, strong sperm are literally propelled right up as soon as the man ejaculates. Anything that "falls out" is usually seminal fluid or lower quality sperm that didn't swim as well and never would've survived the journey to the egg anyway.
I really wouldn't do anything special afterwards.............slipping something in there after the fact won't hold anything in. Once you pull out whatever is in there the same "leftovers" are still going to make their way out.

I agree. I think whats meant to stay in will stay in reguardless of any other methods you try. However, if you do try it and you get a BFP I want to know!

What is a diva cup?
This is taken from their website.
"The DivaCup is a non-absorbent menstrual cup that simply collects menstrual flow. It is inserted in the vagina and sits at the lower base of the vaginal canal. It is worn internally, yet because it is soft and smooth, it cannot be felt nor will it leak when inserted properly. "

Ther is another version of these called Instead Cups. I think they're like a disposable version. I've seen them in Target. They actually advertise them being used for TTC on their website.

Please forgive my ignorance but how would cups that are in your vagina lead to UTIs? I'm not understanding how it would affect the other "tunnel".

I've heard of something called an instead cup. though I'm not sure what that is or how it's used. But I have a friend who does this.

I don't see how it would either. It's basically the same thing as a tampon. And you can still pee after inserting it so it can't cause a UTI from preventing you to pee after sex.
