2 years old - he was evicted from his crib for the new resident.

14 months old - someone was getting rid of a brand new bed by Bellini because it didn't match her other furniture exactlyChat Icon

Re: Spinoff from my other post...

I am terribleChat Icon DD started to climb out of her crib at 14 months so we put a crib tent on her crib. She just turned 2 a week ago and I know we should convert her crib but I am not ready. I know she will not stay in bed when it is time to go to bed she will be out of bed and playing

22 months because Lauren came along!

Otherwise, I really do think he would still be i his crib. He's not a climber at all!

Re: Spinoff from my other post...

Michael was 21 months old when we converted his crib to the toddler bed...

He probably won't get a "big boy" bed until we need the crib again...

Re: Spinoff from my other post...

Nate will be get a big boy bed sometime around June when he's 2. The baby will be using the co-sleeper for a few months and then we'll move it to the crib.

@ 17 months we converted his crib into a toddler bed.

Hopefully sometime this summer we will give him a twin or convert it to a full. I am torn between getting him a trundle so that when family visits they can share a room or he can give it up.. or a bunk praying that some day he will have a little brother.

Jordan when he was about 2 I think.. he was climbing out of his crib, we moved him right to a twin bed... Mallory at 22 months to a toddler bed because we need the crib for the next baby.

Re: Spinoff from my other post...

Julia is going into a big girl bed as soon as we move!!--lol

I'm buying her a full size bed like my niece has and just buy the bars for the sides, some beds even have bars built into the them.

Me too, I am actually dreading putting him into a bed. Naptime and bedtime are always a struggle so when he isn't "caged" in I don't know how I will get him to go to sleep Chat Icon

Re: Spinoff from my other post...

About 18 months with both of them. Both climbed out pretty early, I think my son was about 15 months when he would climb out daily. I happened to need the crib for the next baby in a few months both times but it worked out fine.

I think Ryan was almost 3, he never climbed out of the crib, so I was in no rush.

Patrick was 3 he loved his crib & with us in a 1 bedroom apartment at the time it was fine with us. Once he got his own room he got his big boy bed. I was in no rush.

I'm going to keep my girls in theirs as long as possible.
