I would get the CRV out of the two because I love SUV's. The camry is a great car also.

i'll give you a new one to consider... the toyota RAV-4.... its a toyota, like the camry... BUT its an SUV like the CRV i LOVE RAV!!! its so comfortable to drive, really good on gas for an SUV and has lots of room I love the new Rav-4. It has a third row option too, but is still fuel efficient and compact enough to zip around town.
Sorry I am sure that did not help much

i am soooooo happy w/ our CR-V.
i originally drove the toyota rav-4 but then after driving the CR-V here and there (which was more DH's car) i kinda took that one over haha!
i just love it - the brakes on it are great, it has steering wheel mounted audio controls, leather and heated seats - and all for the price (monthly) with the same amount down that i am paying for the rav-4! had i known - i would have bought the CR-V myself -oops... but that's OK b/c i stole DH's haha. the handling is also great.

I absolutely LOVE my '07 CR-V.
It gets awesome gas mileage.
Have you driven both cars? Which do you prefer?
I personally like the CR-V b/c it's easier to lug tons of stuff around (skis, horse stuff, etc.) -- soemthing to think about.
I love Hondas in general. I have a 2002 Civic with 110,000 miles on it... still going strong!
I haven't driven the new Camrys, but Toyotas are good cars, too.

how does the insurance price out? That may be another factor.
