Spinoff: I need a dress for a wedding in Puerto Rico
I can't find anything! Please post pics of pretty dresses that are appropriate for a wedding in Puerto Rico...I don't think the actual wedding is on the beach, but very near by!

Hey Alicia...I've been to a zillion weddings there in a billion different places. If you know the exact place its gonna be...I can give you a better idea. Some places are more casual...or summer dressy...some are quite a bit more. Do you know where is the location?

yes, thank you! it is at the Westin Rio Mar Resort...I know nothing about it, so any info you could give me regarding how dressy it is, etc. would be very much appreciated!

I actually posted like a day or so ago my options for SIL's wedding in Jamaica next weekend.
BCBG has a lot of great summery looking dresses- and then Ann Taylor had a ton-- but, those dresses don't fit me right-- but they still had a lot of options.

I actually went to BCBG in the city a few days ago and nothing - I always go there first for dresses, b/c they have the best, but for some reason nothing was "wow-ing" me.

K Alicia..I go away for five minutes and look at all these fabulous responses!!!
So the Westin Rio Mar is very nice...but not like stuffy and you have to glam out. It is a little more beachy...and casual(and by casual I don't mean super casual..just island dress) because it is right there on the water. All these dresses these girls have posted are more than appropriate!!!
Just don't glam up too much or you'll feel overdressed!! And be comfy!!!!
Again...so far the dresses I've seen posted are just fabulous and would work perfectly

it depends on the wedding. dress code i guess - either way i tried on some of them yeterday for shlts and gigles and really loved them - i said - i wish i was going to a beachy wedding just so i could wear this
