Spinoff of shopping, what's the most you or anyone else has spend on clothing?
My mom, she bought clothes for me mainly work related so that I look good when I actually find a job. she spend close to 500 but it was at banana. I was shocked but she says this was my christmas gift, birthday gift. I'm all set until next year. I truly have a great mom.
how about you?

When I was single , in great shape and was a little reckless .. well I could easily go shopping with my girlfriends for clothes/shoes and maybe a handbag and spend well over $1000 .. (in one day, yes) .. and then do the same thing the following weekend 
And this was just for average stuff.. like a bunch of tops, jeans, some work clothes.. it wasn't ONE big ticket item really ..
I could NEVER do that now, nor would I really want to

Yeah, I couldn't do that either not that I have the money anyways.

in the past , a hand bag, maybe $800....Now...A handbag "maybe" for like $400-$500 but only if there was a reason for the extra money, not on a normal day to day basis ...Would not spend that on clothes at my budget
